About the Role:
Indian Chemical Corporation is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant / Internal Auditor to join our finance and compliance function in Mumbai.

This role will be responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, supporting accurate financial reporting, overseeing internal audit activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable taxation and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and internal teams to identify financial and operational risks, strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decisions.

Success in this role will mean maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring solid statutory and tax compliance, identifying and addressing control gaps, and helping the organization continuously improve its financial processes and controls.

Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Plan and perform internal audit activities covering financial, accounting, and operational processes.
Review internal controls and identify potential financial, operational, and compliance risks.
Recommend practical corrective actions and process improvements to address control gaps and identified risks.
Monitor and support compliance with applicable direct and indirect taxation requirements.
Ensure timely completion and review of statutory filings, returns, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Review accounting transactions, reconciliations, supporting documents, and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, internal stakeholders, and other professional advisors as requir
