Senior GCP Cloud / DevOps Freelancer

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer who can provide hands-on technical support for cloud infrastructure assessment, automation, CI/CD deployment, service inventory, troubleshooting, and future GCP engineering activities.
The engineer should be comfortable working independently, understanding an existing GCP organization with multiple projects, troubleshooting IAM/access limitations, creating reusable scripts, and explaining implementation steps clearly.

Key Responsibilities
Assess existing GCP environments across multiple projects and folders.
Identify currently deployed GCP services and resources.
Work extensively with Cloud Asset Inventory.
Build scripts to automatically collect GCP resource/service inventory across multiple projects.
Export results into CSV/Excel-friendly formats.
Classify GCP services as Regional, Multi-Regional,



Global, or configuration-dependent.
Analyze resource deployment locations, regions, zones, and HA/DR configuration.

Work with:
GCP Console,gcloud CLI,Cloud Asset Inventory,Cloud Resource Manager,IAM,Cloud Logging / Monitoring,Troubleshoot insufficient IAM permissions and identify required GCP roles.,Create small applications such as Hello World services and deploy them to GCP.

Build CI/CD pipelines using: Cloud Build,GitHub Actions,Artifact Registry,Work with deployment targets such as:Cloud Run,GKE,Compute Engine,App Engine where applicable,Work with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

Understand GCP networking:VPC,Subnets,Firewall rules,Load Balancing,Cloud DNS,Private Google Access,Shared VPC,NAT,Support GKE/Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting.
Understand service accounts and workload authentication.
Help automate repetitive GCP operational activities.
