Job Title: Advanced manufacturing Specialist - Novus Labs

nJob Purpose Statement
nIn this role, you will be responsible for developing mechanical subsystems, including the frame, suspension, BIW, and interiors & exterior trims from Tier-1 suppliers.
nYour primary focus will be a "first-time-right" approach. As an auditor, ensure designs maintain original intent while meeting manufacturing feasibility and validation requirements.

nAdditionally, you will be supported by the vehicle integration expert on layout related inputs .From a part development standpoint you will work as project manager for managing vendor related activities .As part of this team, you will contribute to multiple projects and activities essential for successful vehicle development.

nKey Responsibilities:
nPart development at vendor end Sheet metal /BIW/Plastic at vendor end.
nFixturing & Dies development
n1. Moulds
n2. Press tools
n3. Die Casting Dies
n4. Panel checkers
n5. Assembly fixtures
n6. Welding fixtures
n
nDFMEA, DFA, DFS,APQP,
PPAP for all exclusive parts at vendor end.
nAuditing the development process to meet quality & time target. Act as project manager for manufacturing areas
n
n Complexities:
n● Balancing high-volume, low-margin 2-wheeler parts with high-precision 4-wheeler components. ● Mastering diverse manufacturing processes from plastic injection to heavy forging.
n● Tracking Quality, Cost, and Time (QCT) simultaneously across multiple vendors.
n● Managing independent timelines for component development, fixture fabrication, and tooling.
n● Reviewing complex mold flow analyses and die designs for high-tonnage tooling.
n● Mitigating financial risks associated with premature tool wear or design changes.
n● Auditing Tier 1 vendors with vastly different technical and financial capacities.
n● Balancing OEM design changes with vendor tooling limitations and cost constraints
n● Coordinating with toolmakers and fixture developers
