Job DescriptionPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
NThe Insurance Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving premium-based issuance and business growth across assigned regions. The role focuses on lead generation, sales closures, employee and intermediary activation, persistency management, and compliance-driven training for Life and Health insurance products, including Group and NRI business.
NKey Responsibilities
n1. Sales & Business Delivery (Quantitative KRAs)
N Ensure average 40% RM - Dealer activation per branch (quarterly).
N Ensure monthly branch activation.
N Track and drive minimum 2 insurance joint meetings per RM/Dealer per week.
N Conduct at least 1 insurance training in every branch, every month.
N Increase insurance participation from loss-making units/teams and support non-performers to achieve RSR through insurance contribution.
N Support branch wise target planning and implementation of sales strategy & processes in coordination with Branch Managers.
N Assist Regional Directors to do Insurance target planning for the region (bottoms up approach)
N2. Premium-Based Issuance
N Drive lead generation through direct channels.
N Conduct joint sales calls with regional teams and intermediaries.
N Ensure timely closures and smooth policy issuance.
N Manage leakage to ensurerevenue retention.
N Ensure process adherence.
N Coordinate closely with Regional Directors and local Insurance Company representatives.
N Manage group insurance enquiries, facilitate RFQ completion, enable accurate and timely quotations, and provide end-to-end support for Group Insurance- GTL, GMC.
N Generate NRI business through sales team.
N3. Employee & Channel Activation (Direct)
N Facilitate SP and POSP certifications as per regulatory norms.
N Drive employee activation initiatives and sales contests to enhance productivity.
N Provide effective sales tools, pitching material, and support to field teams.
