Job Title : Car Mechanic / Automotive Maintenance Technician
Experience : 5 to 7-year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and reliable Car Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of company vehicles and automotive equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in contemporary diagnostic tools, and a commitment to ensuring all fleet vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Inspection: Perform thorough diagnostic testing on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning using computerized diagnostic equipment and hand tools. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine scheduled servicing, including oil and filter changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, brake inspections, and battery tests to prolong vehicle lifespan. Mechanical Repairs: Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective engine components, transmissions, clutches, steering mechanisms,
exhaust systems, and electrical wiring. Brake & Suspension Services: Overhaul and service braking systems, replace brake pads/rotors, and repair suspension components to ensure maximum road safety. Fleet Support & Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to roadside breakdowns or urgent mechanical issues, performing field repairs or arranging towing when necessary. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate service logs, repair histories, parts inventory requests, and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and local safety regulations.
