Role Description
Omen Solutions is looking for a Mechanical & Structural Engineering Intern to support our ongoing engineering and consultancy projects.
This is a remote, hands-on role where the selected candidate will work with engineering software, drawings, analysis, calculations and technical documentation while gaining exposure to real skilled projects.
The internship will initially be for 1 month and may be extended for up to 6 months depending on performance, capability and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support mechanical and structural design activities




Develop and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
Assist with structural modelling, engineering analysis and FEA
Perform engineering calculations and design checks
Interpret analysis results and assist with design improvements
Prepare drawings, BOMs/BOQs, calculation sheets and technical documentation
Review and update existing engineering designs
Research and apply relevant engineering codes and standards
Maintain proper documentation of engineering work and design revisions
Coordinate remotely with the engineering team
Complete assigned technical tasks within project timelines
Required Software Skills
Candidates should have practical working knowledge of:
STAAD.Pro
SolidWorks
ANSYS
AutoCAD
Knowledge of additional engineering software will be an advantage, including:
