Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement corporate communications strategies: Create comprehensive communication plans to effectively convey the organisation's messages to both internal and external audiences. Ensure consistency in messaging across various communication channels.
2. Public relations management: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and proactively pitch stories to generate positive media coverage. Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
3. Crisis management:
Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to manage and mitigate reputational risks effectively. Provide timely and accurate responses to address any negative publicity or potential crises. Act as a spokesperson for the organisation when necessary.
4. Internal communication: Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the organisation's goals and initiatives. Create and distribute internal newsletters, memos, and other communications.
5. Content creation: Produce high-quality written content for various communication channels, including blog posts, articles, and presentations. Ensure content is compelling, accurate, and consistent with the organisation's brand voice and messaging.
6. Stakeholder engagement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, community organisations, and government agencies.
