nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy Unit , ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.n
- Handle patient preparation, pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure care .n




- Coordinate and assist doctors during various endoscopic procedures.n
- Ensure proper patient identification, consent, documentation and safety protocols .n
- Manage the endoscopy procedure room, equipment and accessories , ensuring readiness before every procedure.n
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment as per hospital protocols.n
- Maintain adequate availability of consumables, instruments and emergency equipment .n
- Coordinate with Consultants, Anesthesia, Nursing, CSSD, OT and other support departments .n
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient records and daily activity reports.n
- Monitor infection-control practices and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care .n
- Manage and guide the Endoscopy nursing team, including duty allocation, training and performance monitoring .n
