nQualification & Experience

- n
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in SSE (Senior Section Engineer) or equivalent grade and above in the Civil/Electrical Engineering Department of Indian Railways ; and/or n
- Candidates with experience as SM (Station Master) / TI (Traffic Inspector) or equivalent grade and above in the Operating Department of Indian Railways .n
- Candidates with relevant experience in Railway Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Field Supervision will be preferred.n

nKey Responsibilities

- Supervise railway operations and ensure compliance with applicable railway safety rules, procedures, and operating standards .n
- Monitor railway engineering and operational activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.n
- Conduct regular inspections of railway infrastructure and operational areas.n
- Identify safety hazards, operational risks, and non-compliances and ensure timely corrective actions.n
- Coordinate with railway engineering, operating, maintenance,



and project teams on safety and operational matters.n
- Ensure compliance with approved railway procedures, instructions, and safety protocols.n
- Monitor protected working practices during railway construction, maintenance, and operational activities.n
- Support investigation and reporting of incidents, accidents, near misses, and safety-related observations.n
- Maintain records of inspections, safety observations, incidents, and corrective actions.n
- Conduct safety briefings and awareness sessions for personnel involved in railway activities.n
- Coordinate with Railway Authorities and other stakeholders during inspections, audits, and operational activities.n
- Prepare and submit periodic reports related to railway operations, safety, inspections, and compliance.n
- Ensure immediate escalation of critical safety and operational issues to the concerned authority.n
