Product Manager (SG27)

As a Product Manager at Optum, you will be responsible for overseeing the processes related to the

definition of inbound products. Your primary duty will be to develop functional specifications, including

capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, drawing from feedback provided by both internal

and external customers. You will take the lead in detailing requirements, specifications, and prioritizing

features for the product. Collaboration with stakeholders will be crucial in defining product roadmaps, as

you will offer both technical and market insights throughout the development process. You will have a deep

understanding of the product's overall capabilities and will work closely with the development team to

ensure a successful product launch.

The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -
- The Product Manager will work closely with both onsite and offshore teams to assess requirements

and devise solutions.




- The Product Manager will define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for the offerings.
- The Product Manager will effectively convey the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to the

engineering team as required.
- The Product Manager will play a key role in managing the product backlog, crafting user stories, and

approving feature acceptance, all while adhering to the agile methodology set for project

management.
- The Product Manager will collaborate with the engineering team to assess capabilities and

alternatives, taking responsibility for defining and prioritizing product releases.
- The Product Manager will generate release notes, develop demo scripts, and perform feature

demonstrations for stakeholders, in addition to product demonstrations for stakeholders and clients.
- The Product Manager will work alongside UX and the engineering team to shape product design. The
