About the Role

AGCO is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering, EFG India to establish and lead a current engineering organization in Pune, India. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing engineering team that supports AGCO's global Electronics, Software & Functional (EFG) Engineering organization.The successful candidate will drive engineering excellence across electronics, software, electrical systems, model-based engineering, digital engineering, and emerging AI-enabled development practices while collaborating closely with global teams across Europe, North America, and South America.This is a unique opportunity to shape AGCO's future engineering capabilities and create a best-cost global engineering hub that delivers innovative and scalable solutions for next-generation agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Scale Engineering Organization
- Establish and grow AGCO's Electronics, Software & Electrical Engineering team in India.
- Define organizational structure, capability requirements, and workforce plans.




- Lead recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.
- Foster collaboration with global engineering teams across Europe, North America, and Brazil.

Engineering Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end development activities across electronics, software, and electrical engineering.
- Drive engineering execution aligned with AGCO's product development system and V-cycle development methodology.
- Ensure delivery excellence, quality, and operational efficiency.

Model-Based & Digital Engineering
- Drive adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model-Based Design (MBD).
- Lead implementation of Digital Twin, simulation, and virtual validation capabilities.
- Establish modern engineering practices that improve quality and reduce development cycles.

Electrical & Software Systems Development
