Billing Operations Executive - Paid Media

Location: Delhi NCR

Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days' work from home

The Billing Operations Executive will own the end-to-end reconciliation of Paid Media invoices, ensuring accuracy between platform spend, agency/vendor billing, and internal financial records. This role sits at the intersection of finance and media operations, requiring close collaboration with Paid Media teams, vendors, and accounting to ensure billing integrity, timely closeouts, and clean financial reporting across all Paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.).

About the Role:
- Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly Paid Media invoices against platform-reported spend (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, DSPs, etc.) and internal budget trackers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Vendor & Agency Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact with media vendors and agencies on billing questions, disputes, credits, and discrepancies; manage escalations to resolution.
- Month-End Close Support:



Partner with Accounting/Finance to ensure accurate accruals, prepaid adjustments, and journal entries related to media spend are completed on schedule.
- Process & Controls: Maintain and improve billing workflows, reconciliation templates, and documentation to reduce errors and increase efficiency as media spend scales.
- Reporting & Audit Trail: Produce regular reconciliation reports and spend-vs-invoice summaries for finance and media leadership; maintain clean audit trails for internal/external audits.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate variances between platform data, insertion orders/contracts, and invoiced amounts; determine root cause (e.g., billing errors, delayed platform reporting, currency/tax issues).
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Work closely with Paid Media, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure billing terms in contracts/IOs are reflected accurately in invoicing.
