Job Purpose: Oversees remotely operated vehicle operations at the worksite, ensuring safety, efficiency and precision. Leads the offshore ROV team through planning, execution and close-out of subsea projects, drives proactive maintenance and system administration, resolves technical issues and builds cooperative relationships with the client, vessel and onshore teams to deliver seamless project execution.



Is accountable for compliance with IMCA R 004 minimum shift manning and for initiating a management of change and task risk assessment whenever manning or method deviates from the approved standard Aligns daily with the party chief, project managers, survey and engineering teams and safety officers to integrate operational goals with project timelines and safety protocols.

Liaises closely with the vessel Master, particularly on DP vessels, recognising the Master's legal responsibility for overall vessel safety. Interfaces with the client representative onboard, promoting Fugro capability and flagging operational or commercial opportunities to the onshore project manager. Coordinates with technical support and procurement on spares, defects and system readiness.
