Role Summary
nThe Assistant Executive Chef will support the Executive Chef in managing the overall kitchen and food production operations at Food Whisperer's Central Kitchen. The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent food quality, taste, presentation, hygiene, food safety, production planning, manpower management, and cost control.
nThe position will play a key role in ensuring that food is produced as per approved recipes, SOPs, quality standards, production plans, and customer requirements while maintaining productive kitchen operations.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. Kitchen & Production Management

- Assist the Executive Chef in managing day-to-day Central Kitchen operations.n
- Plan and supervise daily food production as per production schedules and business requirements.n
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of food to respective client sites/outlets.n
- Monitor production quantities and ensure adherence to approved production plans.n
- Ensure smooth coordination between various kitchen sections.n




- Monitor workflow and ensure optimum utilization of kitchen resources.n

n2. Food Quality & Consistency

- Ensure food is prepared according to approved recipes, specifications, and SOPs.n
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion size, appearance, and overall quality.n
- Conduct regular quality checks during food preparation and before dispatch.n
- Ensure proper portion control and standardization.n
- Work with the Executive Chef to develop and improve recipes and production processes.n
- Identify and address quality deviations immediately.n

n3. Menu & Recipe Management

- Standardize recipes and maintain recipe cards.n
- Ensure accurate implementation of standardized recipes across production.n
- Provide inputs on ingredient availability, seasonality, food cost, and production feasibility.n
