We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, packages, functions, and production support. Candidates with prior experience in the Insurance domain will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance Oracle PL/SQL programs.
- Design, develop and troubleshoot Packages, Procedures and Functions.
- Provide production support and resolve application/data-related issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Analyze existing PL/SQL code and optimize queries and database processes.
- Work closely with application, testing and business teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Support deployment,
testing and production releases.
- Ensure code quality, performance and adherence to development standards.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Excellent knowledge of Packages, Procedures and Functions.
- Strong experience in Production Support.
- Good understanding of SQL queries, joins, subqueries and performance optimization.
- Experience in incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Insurance domain experience is mandatory/preferred.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
