Job Purpose: The Category Buyer is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across assigned categories to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services. The role drives supplier performance, supports cross-functional collaboration, and contributes to business objectives through effective category planning, negotiation, and contract management.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Execution & Tender Management
- Conduct procurement activities including RFX, tendering, bid evaluation, and PO processing as per approved sourcing strategies
- Prepare quotation comparative statements (QCS), negotiate with vendors, and process Notes for Approval (NFA) within defined Delegation of Authority (up to ₹10 lakhs per transaction or as per category volume)
- Ensure timely closure of ope
