n Position Overview
nMITCOM & CA / MIT SOB & CA is seeking a dynamic, qualified, and research-oriented academician for the position of Assistant Professor in Business Analytics . The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, engage in cutting-edge research, mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry trends.

n Key Responsibilities

- n
- Teaching & Pedagogy: Deliver courses in Business Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Data Visualization, R/Python for Business, Machine Learning Applications, and Big Data Analytics at the UG and PG levels.n
- Research & Publication: Conduct impactful research and publish regularly in peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed, or Web of Science (WoS) journals.n
- Curriculum Development:



Assist in updating the Business Analytics curriculum to reflect evolving industry practices, tools, and frameworks.n
- Mentorship & Guidance: Supervise student research projects, capstone studies, and industry internships; mentor students for academic and professional growth.n
- Institutional Building: Participate in accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF), organize workshops, faculty development programs (FDPs), and guest lectures, and undertake assigned administrative duties.n
- Industry Connect: Build corporate linkages for student live projects, guest sessions, and team-oriented research opportunities.n

- Education: Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Management (with Analytics concentration), Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a closely is highly preferred. n
