Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, C#, Objective-C, or Swift).
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and APIs.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 4 years of technical management or leadership experience directing software developers, systems administrators, or systems architects.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to align distributed engineering leads toward shared architectural standards.
- Expertise in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), designing for high performance/high availability, and building solutions within up-to-date cloud-based environments.
- Solid background in developing, deploying,



and troubleshooting full-stack applications handling planet-scale data.
