Senior Data Engineer (Cloud & Snowflake)

Location: Chennai

Exp Range: 6 to 9 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of operationalizing any Big Data solutions involving S3, EKS, EC2 and IAM

· Performance tuning experience with different types of data stores both structured and unstructured

· Strong SQL hands-on-experience with valuable database/data warehouse knowledge

· Knowledge of programming languages/tools : Python, DBT.

· Ability to develop ELT/ETL pipelines to move data to and from Snowflake data store using combination of Python and Snowflake SnowSQL.

· Knowledge and expertise of data modelling techniques and best practices (Relational, Dimensional), plus any prior experience with data modelling tools (eg.



PowerDesigner).

· Prior experience with Data ingestion tool sets (e.g Apache NiFi, Kafka) is advantageous.

· Experience in working with AWS, MS Azure or other cloud providers. Experience with AWS services such as Lambda or S3, AWS Certification.

· Experience in Data Architecture (Database design, performance optimization).

· Experience with Snowflake will be an added advantage

· Understanding of data modeling and Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, GIT, Concourse) tools
