Job Description Role Summary
nLeads day-to-day technical configuration of Azure Purview — scanning, classification rules, glossary structure, and workflow configuration — and supervises Purview/UC Engineers.

n Key Responsibilities

- Configure and troubleshoot Purview scans against the Unity Catalog metastoren
- Build and tune classification rules for banking-specific sensitive data typesn
- Configure business glossary structure, term templates, and approval workflowsn
- Set up data map collections aligned to the domain structuren
- Review and QA engineer output before handoff to Data Stewardsn
- Support access-insight report configurationn

n Required Qualifications

- n
- 4+ years data catalog/governance tooling experience,



including 2+ years hands-on Azure Purviewn
- Experience configuring scan rule sets, classification, and glossary workflowsn
- Familiarity with Azure RBAC and service-principal configurationn

n Preferred Qualifications

- Experience specifically integrating Purview with Databricks Unity Catalogn
- Banking or other regulated-industry classification experiencen
