Job description – Structural Designer Produce 3 D models consistent with instruction, industry guidelines, and KP& J A& E standards and practices. Clearly annotate, dimension, and detail 2 D production drawings in conformance to KP& J standards and practices. Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals. Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting). Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modelling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery. Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines. Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions. Create 3 D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.

Qualifications:




2 to 3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery. Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Auto CAD software Solid understanding of how a building comes together Ability to think in 3-D Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from the engineer Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a team
