n Role Summary
nKanhai Foods is looking for a Head of General Trade to build and lead our open-market sales across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The role owns primary and secondary sales in the general trade channel — appointing and developing distributors and salesmen across territories, managing regional sales teams, and delivering sales targets and market growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build a network from the ground up and drive numbers through the people under them.

n What You Will Be Doing

- Own and deliver general trade sales targets across Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, and Maharashtra.n
- Build and expand the open-market network — appoint, onboard, and develop current distributors and salesmen across all territories.n
- Lead and manage regional sales teams (sales executives in each region), setting targets, reviewing performance, and driving accountability.n
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies to maximise market share, distribution reach, and revenue.n
- Establish region- and distributor-level growth plans that connect to overall company objectives; review progress monthly/quarterly and drive corrective action.n
- Drive width and depth of distribution — new outlet acquisition, product placement, and visibility in the market.n
- Manage distributor relationships, including ROI, claims, stock, and coverage discipline.n
- Use sales data to track performance, identify gaps and opportunitie
