nAbout the Role -
nOmjee’s Cine World is expanding its music business and is looking for an experienced A&R; & Creative Head - Music to help build a solid and consistent pipeline of original music, artists and collaborations.
n

nThe role will focus primarily on Punjabi music and requires someone who is already well connected with singers, lyricists, composers, music producers and emerging talent.
n

nWe are looking for someone with a robust ear for music who can do more than simply source songs — someone capable of identifying potential, developing music creatively and putting together the right artists and collaborators.

nKey Responsibilities -

- Discover and source commercially and creatively strong songs, demos, artists and music opportunities.n
- Build and maintain relationships with singers, lyricists, composers,



music producers and other music-industry talent.n
- Continuously identify promising new and emerging artists.n
- Develop a consistent pipeline of potential releases for the label.n
- Identify current and upcoming trends while maintaining a distinct identity for the label.n
- Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations for song acquisitions and artist collaborations.n
- Coordinate closely with the Music Operations Head for contracts, NOCs, release planning, distribution and execution.n
- Maintain an organised pipeline of artists, demos, songs under consideration and upcoming releases.n
- Primarily develop opportunities within Punjabi and Haryanvi music, while remaining open to commercially relevant opportunities in adjacent markets.n
