Role Description The Bakery Chef is a full-time, on-site role based at Sabali Cafe in Manali. The person in this role will prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and brunch-related baked items according to the café’s recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, handling doughs and batters, monitoring baking times, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation.



The Bakery Chef will manage inventory of baking supplies, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow food safety and hygiene practices. This role also involves collaborating with the café team on menu ideas, supporting peak service hours, and occasionally interacting with guests to receive feedback on baked products.
Qualifications
Strong skills in baking and pastry preparation, including breads, cakes, and café-style desserts.
Experience working in a skilled kitchen or bakery, preferably in a café, brunch, or coffee shop setting.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while also contributing creative ideas for new baked items and specials.
Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
Capacity to work on-site in Manali, including early mornings, weekends, and
