Job Description Senior Backend Developer (Node.js / TypeScript) Experience : 4–7 Years Employment Type: Full time Location : Remote ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend services, APIs, databases, asynchronous processing systems, integrations, and production-ready solutions. You will work closely with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. • Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services. • Design efficient and scalable database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL. • Implement caching and high-performance data access using Redis.



• Build asynchronous and event-driven systems using at least one messaging or queue technology such as Kafka, BullMQ, or RabbitMQ. • Design reliable background jobs, queues, retries, scheduled jobs, and failure-handling mechanisms. • Participate in system architecture, technical design, and scalability discussions. • Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code. • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control. • Integrate with third-party APIs and external services. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability. • Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards. • Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams. • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required. • Take ownership of features from technical design through deployment and production support.
