Job Description
- Support the development and commercialization of leather materials for seasonal and carry-over collections.
- Evaluate leather materials against technical, quality, durability, aesthetic, and manufacturing standards.
- Conduct detailed assessments of leather properties, including grading, colour consistency, thickness, finish, softness, and performance.
- Coordinate laboratory testing and validate material compliance with established quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain leather specifications, colour standards, defect acceptance criteria, and finishing guidelines.




- Collaborate with Product Development teams to identify suitable leather materials for recent product development initiatives.
- Partner with suppliers and tanneries to resolve technical challenges and improve material performance.
- Support supplier evaluations, material audits, and continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain technical documentation, testing records, material libraries, and approval databases.
- Ensure compliance documentation and technical certifications are accurate and up to date.
- Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams to investigate material-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing and environmentally compliant materials.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on innovation, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
