Job Summary

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- ETP & RO Operations: Monitor and operate the Effluent Treatment Plant and Reverse Osmosis system. Maintain standard parameters (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, and flow rates) and manage chemical dosing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- TFH Operation: Safely operate and monitor the Thermic Fluid Heater (TFH). Check oil levels, temperature, pressure gauges, and ensure smooth fuel/gas supply and heat distribution.
- Scrubber Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the gas/air scrubbing systems to control emissions. Ensure proper circulation of scrubbing media and neutralize acidic/alkaline vapors effectively.
- Logbook Maintenance: Maintain accurate, hourly records of utility parameters, chemical consumption, and equipment running hours in the shift logbooks.
- Preventive Maintenance:



Perform routine check-ups, minor troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, and blowers. Report major breakdowns to the maintenance team promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to company safety protocols, handling hazardous chemicals safely using appropriate PPE. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment (5S).

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Education: ITI in AOCP, Fitter, or relevant trade / Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience managing utilities (specifically ETP, RO, TFH, and Scrubbers) in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing plant.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of chemical dosing, filtration, and water treatment processes.
- Familiarity with the operation of pumps, valves, blowers, and pressure gauges.
