D2C Operations Executive / Team Lead — Capes India
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive D2C Operations Executive / Team Lead to manage day-to-day ecommerce operations across D2C and B2B channels. The role involves working closely with the co-founders, website manager, dispatch team, marketplace head, and CRM team to ensure smooth operations across inventory, dispatch, logistics, listings, and order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily D2C and B2B order operations from order placement to final dispatch.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure orders are packed, processed, and shipped on time.
- Track courier pickups, AWB updates, delivery status, RTOs, delays, and shipment escalations.
- Ensure inventory, stock levels, SKUs, pricing, and product listings are updated across all platforms.
- Monitor stock-outs, stock-ups, inward stock, outward stock, and inventory mismatches.
- Work closely with the website management to maintain accurate product availability and listing updates.
- Coordinate with the marketplace head for marketplace orders,
inventory syncing, and operational issues.
- Maintain daily reports for dispatch, inventory movement, pending orders, and logistics tracking.
- Coordinate with courier partners, vendors, warehouse teams, and internal departments for smooth execution.
- Ensure customers with active tickets are regularly updated and kept in flow with operations regarding dispatch, logistics, delays, and order movement.
- Support CRM/customer support teams in resolving operational and dispatch-related escalations.
- Identify operational gaps and improve workflows and SOPs for better efficiency.
- Support co-founders with operational updates, reporting, and execution tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in D2C operations, ecommerce operations, logistics, or dispatch coordination.
- Basic understanding of order processing, inventory management, courier tracking, and warehouse coordination.
