Sr. Accountant - Job Description (JD)

Designation: Sr. Accountant
Qualification: M.Com / Inter CA / CA
Experience: 7-10 Years
Software Knowledge: Tally ERP (mandatory), MS Excel, GST & Accounting Software

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries in Tally ERP.
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances including return filing and reconciliations.
- Monitor customer outstanding receivables, vendor payments, and cash flow management.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, expenses, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Prepare budgets, cost analysis, profitability reports,



and financial projections as required by Management.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, supporting documents, and statutory registers.
- Support Management with financial analysis, internal controls, compliance monitoring, and special assignments.

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Financial Reporting
- GST, TDS, Income Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Tally ERP (mandatory)
- Advanced MS Excel & MIS Reporting
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management
- Audit Coordination & Documentation
- Analytical, Detail-Oriented & Result-Driven Approach

Preferred Industry
- Manufacturing Industry experience preferred, especially exposure to inventory accounting, costing, and GST compliance.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
