Job Overview:
The Banking Support Analyst plays a critical role in providing comprehensive support to the Banking team by assisting with a variety of functions essential for informed decision-making and operational efficiency. The Banking Support Analyst contributes to information retrieval, analytics, and compliance tasks in coordination with the banking team. The Analyst is responsible for assisting Investment Banking teams globally by providing foundational support for a wide range of transactions, including capital raises, mergers and acquisitions. The overall objective is to provide broad support to the team across multiple areas, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to internal and external requirements.
Responsibilities:
- This role provides essential support to various teams within the Banking division. Specific duties, all performed under guidance, may include:
- Assist with the execution of data gathering and documentation related to potential deals, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Support senior team members in identifying potential conflicts of interest by compiling relevant information.
- Assist in compiling market data and creating basic charts/graphs for presentations.
- Support senior team members in the preparation of competitor analysis reports.
- Assist in maintaining databases of key contacts and client information under supervision.
- Help organize and distribute market research reports to the banking team, following established procedures.
- Support the Banking team by executing assigned tasks related to deals, business development, and product/coverage efforts.
