Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and competent TGT - Social Science to teach Middle School (Classes VI-VIII) in alignment with CBSE curriculum and competency-based education frameworks. The role demands facilitation of experiential, inquiry-driven learning that enables students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons in History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics as per CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines

Design assessment tools (MCQs, case-based questions, source-based questions) aligned with CBSE examination patterns

Integrate interdisciplinary learning, SDGs, and real-life connections into classroom practices

Use activity-based, experiential, and discussion-oriented pedagogies

Maintain student portfolios, notebooks, and assessment records as per CBSE norms

Support Student Enrichment Activities (SEA), projects, and club initiatives

Ensure effective use of ICT tools and digital platforms for teaching-learning

Uphold classroom management,

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Sciences (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics)

B.Ed. (mandatory)

Minimum 2-4 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred

Desired Competencies

Solid understanding of CBSE pedagogy and assessment reforms

Ability to develop value points, guided answers, and structured responses

Proficiency in competency-based question framing and evaluation

Effective communication and classroom facilitation skills

Familiarity with NCERT resources, learning outcomes, and Bloom’s taxonomy

Commitment to holistic, value-based education

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
