Job Summary
HVS Hospitals is looking for a qualified and detail‑oriented Hospital Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, inventory control, and ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care for patients in coordination with doctors and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately as per doctor’s prescription
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines as per guidelines
- Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry monitoring
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations
- Provide medication counseling to patients and attendants
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and procurement team
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
Eligibility Criteria
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm:
- Registered with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council - Mandatory:
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of medicines and hospital pharmacy operations
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills for billing and inventory systems
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in shifts
Pay: From ₹240,000.00 per year
