An ERP Data Entry Operator specializing in Purchase and Job Orders ensures the accurate, timely input of procurement and production data into an Enterprise Resource Planning system. They act as a critical link between purchasing, production, and accounting teams, maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring that purchase orders (POs) and job orders (JO) are processed correctly, from issuance to closure.

Job Responsibilities
- Purchase Order Management: Generate, enter, and track purchase orders for raw

materials, components, and services.
- Job Order Processing: Create and update production job orders/work orders in the

ERP system based on production schedules.
- Data Accuracy & Validation: Review source documents (invoices, requests) for errors before entry and perform regular audits to maintain data integrity.
- Inventory & Material Coordination: Co-ordinate with Store team for tracking inventory levels, and help them to align good receipts (GRN) with purchase orders as and when require.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and correct mismatches between purchase orders, invoices,



and physical inventory.
- Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding purchasing trends, production progress, and inventory status for management.
- Data Maintenance: File and scan documents, ensuring both physical and digital records are orderly and easily accessible.

Accuracy &Detail;: High attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in large datasets.
- Background Knowledge: Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory management,

and manufacturing workflows.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate with vendors, production teams, and suppliers.
