SUMMARY

The Advanced Associate Content Producer contributes meaningfully to team projects, demonstrates growing expertise in assessment workflows, and exercises judgment in reviewing, refining, and validating AI‑generated and human‑authored assessment items. This position requires independent thinking, solid organization and time management, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB
- Contributes to the development of valid, reliable, and instructionally aligned assessment assets that directly impact learner outcomes.
- Plays a key role in ensuring assessments meet clarity, fairness, accessibility, and technical standards for Pearson courseware.
- Supports assessment production workflows that affect product availability, quality, and downstream revenue readiness.
- Identifies risks, discrepancies, or quality issues and escalates appropriately to maintain schedule and content integrity.
- Provides structured documentation, metadata accuracy, and audit‑ready records for assessment content.





Dollar responsibilities: Ensure quiz and assessment activities are within budget and follow established budgets. The quality of our assessments impacts the value and salability of our courseware.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- An understanding of courseware structure, instructional content, and learning objectives.
- Proficiency with multiple assessment item formats and their appropriate use cases.
- Understanding of LMS behaviors and basic SCORM packaging concepts.
- Familiarity with AI‑based assessment generation tools (training provided).
- Ability to evaluate validity, reliability, and cognitive alignment of assessment items.
- Experience creating or reviewing assessment items preferred.
- Experience with courseware, learning platforms, or LMS environments is helpful.
- Understanding of accessibility principles and digital assessment standards is highly desirable.
