Job Title: AutoCAD Designer / Drafter

Job Purpose

To create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings and layouts that support engineering, construction, or manufacturing projects, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD software.
- Technical Accuracy: Convert hand-sketches and verbal instructions from engineers or architects into clear, workable digital drawings.
- Revision Management: Update existing drawings based on site feedback, "as-built" conditions, or design changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with structural or mechanical requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain a systematic library of drawings,



ensuring version control and easy retrieval for the site team.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a certified course in Professional AutoCAD.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in drafting, ideally within the construction, cement, or heavy industry sectors.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
- Knowledge of BIM (Revit) or 3ds Max is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with engineering symbols, building codes, and measurement units.
- Soft Skills: Strong spatial visualization, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
