QUALIFICATION:
BE/ Degree / Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineer
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:
Minimum 2 - 3 years in the façade or architecture industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel is mandatory.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Development & Engineering:
Translating architectural concepts into viable, technical façade solutions using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or Rhino. This includes detailed structural calculations to ensure the façade can withstand wind loads and seismic activity.
Performance Analysis:
Optimizing the building skin for thermal efficiency (U-values), acoustic insulation, and weather resistance. Key metrics often include reducing solar heat gain and achieving specific energy-saving targets.
Technical Documentation & Approval:
Producing exact shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP). A critical metric is the percentage of first-time approvals for these documents by consultants.
Material Selection & Compliance:
Specifying and verifying materials (glass, cladding, sealants) that meet local building codes and sustainability standards like LEED.
Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
