Role Overview

The Logistics Executive - Last Mile Operations is responsible for coordinating daily delivery operations, managing delivery partners (bike & van), ensuring timely dispatch, and maintaining service quality standards. This role is critical in ensuring smooth last-mile execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management
- Coordinate daily last-mile delivery operations:
- Assign delivery routes to bike and van delivery executives:
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure on-time completion:
- Handle dispatch planning and route allocation
- Ensure proper load planning and vehicle utilization
- Maintain delivery schedules and timelines

Delivery Team Management
- Supervise bike and van delivery partners:
- Track attendance and shift allocation
- Resolve field-level delivery issues
- Provide instructions and operational guidance
- Ensure discipline and productivity of delivery staff




- Support recruitment and onboarding of new delivery partners

Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily delivery reports:
- Track completed, pending, and failed deliveries
- Maintain records of fuel usage and vehicle movement
- Update MIS and operational dashboards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Maintain delivery proof and documentation

Route & Performance Optimization
- Optimize delivery routes to reduce time and cost
- Monitor delivery performance metrics
- Reduce delivery delays and failures
- Improve turnaround time (TAT)
- Support planning for recent delivery zones

Customer & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with clients regarding dispatch requirements
- Handle delivery-related escalations
- Ensure customer satisfaction standards
- Maintain communication with warehouse teams
