We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on the chemical/pharma manufacturing floor, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met. The role requires strong technical knowledge of batch manufacturing processes and the ability to lead shop-floor teams efficiently.

Qualification

B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry / Biochemistry) or B.Pharma

Experience

Minimum 2 years in Chemical or Pharma manufacturing

Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor to meet output schedules
- Monitor batch manufacturing processes in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations
- Lead and guide operators and technicians; assign tasks and monitor performance
- Maintain proper documentation: batch records, logbooks, and production reports
- Coordinate with QC, maintenance, and stores for smooth operations




- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and conduct safety briefings
- Support initiatives for yield improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization

Required Skills & Tools
- Solid understanding of chemical/pharma manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of GMP, cGMP, and EHS standards
- Familiarity with equipment: reactors, centrifuges, dryers, distillation units
- Ability to read PFDs and P&IDs;
- Proficiency in production documentation and MIS reporting
- Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Biochemistry
- Experience in API or specialty chemical manufacturing
- Exposure to ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 environments
- Ability to manage 10+ operators in shift operations

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
