Job Summary

The Special Educator is responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in accordance with CBSE inclusive education guidelines. The role involves identifying learning difficulties, planning individualized educational support, coordinating with teachers and parents, and ensuring the academic, emotional, and behavioral development of students within an inclusive classroom workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and special educational needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as per CBSE inclusive education practices.
- Provide remedial instruction and academic support to students requiring special assistance.
- Conduct individual and group intervention sessions for students with learning challenges.
- Maintain student assessment records, progress reports,



and confidential documentation.
- Support students during examinations as per CBSE norms and accommodations.
- Guide teachers on inclusive classroom management techniques and differentiated instruction.
- Counsel and coordinate with parents regarding student progress and developmental needs.
- Work with counsellors, therapists, and school authorities for holistic student support.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment within the school.
- Participate in school meetings, parent interactions, workshops, and training programs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Special Education.
- B.Ed. in Special Education preferred.
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certification preferred/mandatory as per norms.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a CBSE or recognized school.
- Knowledge of CBSE inclusive education policies and examination accommodations.
