Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant whose primary responsibility is leading, managing, and developing people while ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services.

This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, international accounting standards, and U.S. tax law, combined with the ability to oversee teams, manage client relationships, and drive engagements from start to finish.

This is a fully remote position working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Management (Primary Function)
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and bookkeepers
- Review and oversee bookkeeping, financial statements, and tax deliverables
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to U.S. GAAP and applicable international standards (e.g., IFRS):
- Manage team workload, deadlines, and performance expectations
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and technical training
- Improve internal workflows, systems, and team efficiency

2. Client Advisory & Relationship Management




- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Lead client meetings and present financial insights in a explicit, non-technical manner
- Provide proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services:
- Advise clients on profitability, cash flow, tax strategy, and business growth
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships

3. Accounting & Tax Oversight
- Oversee preparation and review of:
- Financial statements
- Bookkeeping and month-end close
- Business and individual tax returns
- Ensure compliance with:
- U.S. GAAP:
- U.S. tax regulations (IRS):
- Relevant international tax and reporting requirements:
- Research and resolve complex accounting and tax issues
- Ensure engagements are completed from start to finish with high quality

4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes
- Enhance internal controls
