Flometriq Filtration is a five-decade-old industrial strainer manufacturing company under the Teleflo Group, serving leading Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Chemical, and Process Industries across India and overseas. Our customers include major EPCs, OEMs, and global energy companies.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
- Managing Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Preparation of GST filings, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation
- Bank reconciliation and payment processing
- Vendor ledger reconciliation and follow-ups
- Preparation of invoices, e-way bills, and purchase entries
- Assisting in monthly closing and financial reporting
- Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and internal departments
- Maintaining proper documentation and accounting records
- Monitoring outstanding receivables and customer payments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com preferred)
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries
- Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial manufacturing companies
- Knowledge of export documentation and LC payments is an added advantage
- Good communication and coordination abilities
