About the Role

Hodo Stays is launching a premium aparthotel in Hyderabad. 40 keys, a café, and a full-service restaurant and we're looking for a seasoned General Manager to lead this property from the ground up. This is a pre-opening role, which means you won't just be running a hotel, you'll be building one. From assembling the team to setting the service culture, the GM will be the architect of everything that makes this property work.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening
- Lead all pre-opening activities including SOPs, departmental setup, vendor finalisation, and operational readiness.
- Develop and execute a pre-opening plan with explicit milestones across rooms, F&B;, housekeeping, front office, and administration.
- Collaborate with founders on brand positioning, service standards, and guest experience design.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and fit-out teams to ensure the property is operationally ready on schedule
- Obtain all necessary licences and statutory approvals — trade licence, fire NOC, FSSAI, police intimation, and others applicable in Telangana




- Set up all property management systems, reservation platforms, OTA listings, and revenue management tools

Team Building & Leadership
- Design the complete organisational structure for the property across all departments
- Lead end-to-end hiring for all key positions, Front Office Manager, F&B; Manager, Executive Chef, Housekeeping Supervisor, and supporting staff
- Define KPIs, roles, and reporting structures for every position
- Build and embed a service culture aligned with Hodo Stays' premium brand identity
- Conduct onboarding, training, and pre-opening simulations before the first guest checks in

Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations across rooms, café, restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Maintain the highest standards of guest experience, cleanliness, and service delivery across all touchpoints
