Job Title: Commis I / II / III (Continental Cuisine)
Location: Bandra, Mumbai

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes as per recipes and standards
- Ensure proper mise en place before service hours
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Support senior chefs (CDP/Sous Chef) during service
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Follow kitchen SOPs and presentation guidelines
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients

Role Breakdown:
Commis I (Advanced):
- Manage a section independently
- Assist in training junior staff
- Ensure quality control and timely service
- Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth operations

Commis II (Intermediate):
- Handle a specific section under supervision
- Prepare basic dishes independently
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation

Commis III (Entry Level):
- Assist in basic food preparation (cutting, peeling, cleaning)
- Maintain workstation cleanliness




- Learn kitchen operations and safety practices

Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred
- Experience:
- Commis III: 0-1 year
- Commis II: 1-3 years
- Commis I: 3+ years
- Knowledge of Continental cuisine techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Robust teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of plating and presentation styles
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning
