The Senior Officer - Accounts is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial audits. The role requires accuracy, analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting procedures and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, bills, and payment records.
- Handle bank reconciliation statements and cash flow records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Maintain GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance records.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Monitor employee reimbursements and expense claims.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist management in budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensure timely salary processing and payroll coordination.
- Follow company accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / MBA Finance.
- Additional accounting certification will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
