Role Summary

This is not a role for giving random tips or independent trade calls. The analyst’s job is to prepare clean, actionable, well-reasoned technical setups. Final trading decisions will be taken by the Chief Trader.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Market Preparation

Before market opens, prepare a structured daily note covering:
- Nifty view
- Bank Nifty view
- Sensex view, if relevant
- Global market cues
- Gift Nifty movement
- Dow, Nasdaq, S&P; 500 movement
- Major Asian market cues
- FII/DII data
- India VIX movement
- Sectoral strength/weakness
- Gap-up/gap-down stocks
- News-based stocks
- Stocks near breakout/breakdown zones
- Important support and resistance levels
- Watchlist for the day

2. Intraday Market Monitoring

During market hours, monitor:
- Nifty and Bank Nifty levels
- Sector rotation




- Momentum stocks
- Volume spikes
- Breakout and breakdown levels
- VWAP behaviour
- Moving average support/resistance
- Price action patterns
- Reversal zones
- Open interest data, if applicable
- Market breadth
- Advance/decline ratio
- Stocks showing unusual movement
- Failed breakouts and traps

3. Technical Setup Identification

Prepare structured setups with:
- Stock/index name
- Buy/sell bias
- Entry zone
- Stop loss
- Target zone
- Risk-reward ratio
- Timeframe
- Reason for trade
- Invalidation level
- Chart screenshot
- Setup type

Examples of setup types:
- Breakout
- Breakdown
- Pullback
- VWAP reclaim
- Trend continuation
- Reversal
- Range breakout
- Volume breakout
- Support bounce
- Resistance rejection
- Flag/pennant pattern
- Moving average crossover
- Sector-led momentum

4. Short-Term and Swing Technical Research

Maintain watchlists for:
- 1-3 day trades
- Weekly momentum trades
