About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor with 4-5 years of experience to lead post-production for our startup YouTube channel. In this role, you will shape the visual identity of our podcast and fast-paced news segments, ensuring high engagement and flawless execution.

Core Responsibilities

Multi-Cam Editing: Seamlessly cut and sync 2-camera and 3-camera podcast shoots.

News Storytelling: Edit fast-paced, high-accuracy news videos with tight pacing and compelling structures.

Audience Retention: Implement robust YouTube-specific styles, engaging hooks, and pacing optimized for social media platforms.

Quality Control: Handle color grading, audio leveling, and sound design for all final exports.

Requirements:




Experience: 4-5 years of professional video editing experience (preferably in digital media or news formats).

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, thumbnail dynamics, viewer retention tactics, and video hooks.

Preferred Qualifications (The Edge)

Proficiency in motion graphics and VFX (After Effects).

Practical understanding of camera setups and production knowledge.
