Role Summary

We are looking for a part time Risk Controller and Trading Performance Reviewer to support a private trading desk by reviewing risk exposure, trading discipline, drawdowns, strategy-wise performance, and capital allocation. The role is not to generate trade ideas. The role is to ensure that trading remains disciplined, measurable, and risk-controlled.

Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Limit Review

Review whether the desk is following:
- Daily max loss limit
- Weekly max loss limit
- Risk per trade
- Segment-wise risk allocation
- Position size limits
- Commodity leverage limits
- Intraday exposure limits
- Overnight exposure limits
- Open position risk

2. Trade Journal Review

Review trade journal for:
- Entry reason




- Stop loss placement
- Target logic
- Exit reason
- Whether stop loss was followed
- Whether trade was planned or impulsive
- Whether trade was within risk limit
- Whether trade was from approved watchlist
- Whether analyst reasoning was valid
- Whether mistake was repeated

3. Performance Analysis

Track:
- Daily P&L;
- Weekly P&L;
- Monthly P&L;
- Segment-wise P&L;
- Strategy-wise P&L;
- Win rate
- Average profit
- Average loss
- Risk-reward ratio
- Profit factor
- Drawdown
- Best trades
- Worst trades
- Consecutive loss streaks
- Overtrading patterns

4. Behavioural Risk Review

Identify:
- Revenge trading
- Overtrading
- Averaging losses
- Ignoring stop loss
- Trading after daily loss limit
- Oversized positions
- Emotional trading
- Converting trades into investments
- Taking trades outside plan
- Excessive commodity leverage
- Overconfidence after winning streak
