Role Summary

We are looking for a research-driven Equity Research Analyst to support a private trading and investment desk with fundamental research, sector analysis, swing ideas, long-term investment opportunities, safe stock identification, and multibagger research.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundamental Stock Research

Prepare research notes covering:
- Company overview
- Business model
- Revenue segments
- Promoter background
- Management quality
- Financial performance
- Debt levels
- Cash flows
- Profit margins
- Return ratios
- Valuation
- Growth triggers
- Risks
- Peer comparison
- Investment thesis
- Exit conditions

2. Long-Term Investment Research

Identify and track:
- Quality compounders
- Safe long-term stocks
- Sector leaders
- Low-debt companies
- Cash-flow strong companies




- High ROE/ROCE businesses
- Consistent profit growers
- Companies with solid moats
- Businesses with long runway

3. Multibagger Research

Study high-growth opportunities in:
- Smallcap companies
- Midcap companies
- Emerging sectors
- Turnaround stories
- Capacity expansion stories
- Export-led businesses
- Import substitution themes
- Niche manufacturing companies
- Commodity cycle beneficiaries
- Capex-driven sectors

4. Swing and Positional Research

Support short-term and medium-term opportunities based on:
- Results momentum
- Sectoral tailwinds
- Earnings upgrades
- Management commentary
- Breakout with fundamentals
- Valuation re-rating
- News/event triggers
- Commodity-linked sector movements

5. Sector Research

Maintain sector notes on:
- Metals
- Mining
