The Nursery Teacher is responsible for fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where young children can develop foundational cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills. By employing creative teaching methodologies—such as storytelling, games, rhymes, and arts and crafts—the teacher prepares children for formal primary school education.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Curriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning
- Play-Based Learning: Design and execute daily activity plans that incorporate the natural rhythm of play, storytelling, rhyming games, and hands-on discovery.
- Skill Development: Introduce foundational concepts of language (phonics, basic speech), basic numeracy/math, and environmental awareness.
- Creative Engagement: Conduct interactive sessions involving arts, crafts, music, and movement to keep energetic young minds engaged.

2. Child Development & Care
- Motor Skills Enhancement: Organize indoor and outdoor activities that promote both fine motor skills (drawing, coloring, cutting) and gross motor skills (jumping, balancing, physical coordination).




- Social & Emotional Growth: Teach positive manners, hygiene, and healthy habits. Guide children in navigating social cues, sharing, empathy, and cooperation with peers.
- Pastoral Care: Provide a high level of emotional support, comfort, and care, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and secure.

3. Classroom Management & Safety
- Safe Environment: Maintain a colorful, tidy, clean, and completely hazard-free classroom and play zone.
- Behavior Management: Use soft-spoken, encouraging, and patient methods to manage group dynamics and resolve minor conflicts or tantrums gently.
- Supervision: Closely monitor children during meal times,nap times, bathroom breaks, and outdoor play to ensure absolute safety.
