Job Description: Mid-Level Accountant

Location: Beleghata, CIT, Kolkata
Salary: ₹18,000 - ₹22,000 per month

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash book, and bank statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare invoices, bills, and vouchers
- Assist in GST returns and basic tax compliance
- Support in monthly and yearly financial closing
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required

Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally or similar tools
- Basic to intermediate understanding of GST and taxation
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, data handling, reports)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance




- Experience in handling GST filings and reconciliations

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
